Francie R. Gorowitz is a partner in the firm’s intellectual property group. Ms Gorowitz’ practice covers all aspects of trademark and copyright law, both domestic and international, including counseling, registration, assignments, due diligence, and licensing.
Ms. Gorowitz’s experience includes counseling clients and handling trademark, copyright, and Internet matters, including domain name disputes and ; prosecuting foreign and domestic trademark applications; negotiating and drafting settlement agreements; analyzing U.S. and international trademark availability searches and advising clients about issues of selection and availability of trademarks; drafting, reviewing, and recording licenses and assignments throughout the world; reviewing client advertising and packaging to insure compliance with trademark laws and regulatory requirements; and litigating before Trademark Trial and Appeal Boards and district courts.
Ms. Gorowitz began her career as a Trademark Examining Attorney at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (1980-1986).
