Renee A. Farrell is a partner in the firm’s Entertainment Group.
Ms. Farrell’s practice covers all aspects of entertainment law.
She represents a variety of individuals, including writers, directors, producers and actors, in live action and animated projects for film, television and the Internet. Her expertise includes licensing, merchandising, publishing, personal appearance and endorsement deals, and live stage performance deals.
Ms. Farrell also represents a cross-section of major film studios and television production companies in development and production work for film and television. She assists them in unraveling the legal intricacies in underlying rights agreements and rights clearances, and she drafts location and production agreements, actor, producer, film editor, composer and other key crew agreements, master use/synchronization licenses, and analyzes script research reports, and other clearance issues. Ms. Farrell advises line producers and production managers during all stages of production with their numerous day-to-day business activities as they relate to legal issues.
