Eric M. Greenfeld is of-counsel to the firm.  He furnishes strategic, business affairs, and legal advisory services to film funds, the local production and film financing arms of overseas companies, individual movie financiers, and producers. Mr. Greenfeld also develops and assists in the analysis of sophisticated forecasting models for cash flow and profitability estimates and to structure gross receipts and backend profit participations for talent deals and investments in studio movies, independent films, and film slates. Together with his colleagues, he furnishes full entertainment legal services for his clients, including making and documenting development deals, acquisition of intellectual properties, chain-of-title and insurance clearance reviews, business and legal production services, structuring and documenting financing transactions, and the sale and licensing of distribution rights.

Mr. Greenfeld has spent more than twenty-five years in the studio and independent worlds as a lawyer, executive and writer. He began his legal career in 1987 in the entertainment department of Loeb & Loeb and returned to private practice in 2005 after a career as a studio and independent film company executive and attorney. Mr. Greenfeld was co-founding executive and Chief Operating Officer of Robert Redford's Sundance Productions, a film and Internet production, financing and distribution venture started in 2000. Prior to launching Sundance Productions, Mr. Greenfeld was MGM's Senior Vice President of Business Affairs for seven years. Before joining MGM, Mr. Greenfeld was Vice President of Business Affairs at New Line Cinema and an entertainment lawyer in private practice. Prior to and while attending law school, he was a newspaper reporter, segment writer for the local television program "PM Magazine," a ghostwriter and screenwriter. Mr. Greenfeld’s work has been optioned by two major Hollywood studios.
