Background:
Glen A. Rothstein is a litigation partner whose practice emphasizes the
area of entertainment. Mr. Rothstein has litigated cases in state and
federal courts across the country, the American Arbitration Association, the
IFTA Arbitration Tribunal and the California Department of Industrial
Relations. Mr. Rothstein has represented motion picture and television
studios, music recording companies, actors, writers, producers, directors,
recording artists, talent agents and agencies, talent and business managers,
independent production and distribution companies and video game agents,
developers and publishers, among other types of clients. Mr. Rothstein’s
experience representing a wide array of clients in all aspects of the
entertainment industry, including contract, employment, copyright and
intellectual property disputes, provides him with a unique insight into the
litigation and resolution of entertainment-related disputes.
Mr. Rothstein is a Los Angeles
native. He received his B.A. from the University of California, Santa
Barbara in 1992 (with Highest Honors) and his J.D. from University of
California, Los Angeles School of Law in 1995. He is a member of the State
Bar of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and is admitted
to practice in federal courts across California. Mr. Rothstein has also
written several articles that have been published in legal publications and
law reviews.
