active in the community and the press...Presentations
Greg Bernstein
began teaching his course "Independent Film Financing" at UCLA on April 6.
Bruce Telles spoke on "Y2K and
the Financial Services Industry" at the Defense Research Institute's Y2K Seminar in
New Orleans.
Bruce recently spoke in New York at a Practising Law Institute Seminar on Insurance
Coverage on two topics: (1) Insurance Coverage for Intellectual Property
Torts; and (2) Insurance Coverage for Y2K.
Publications
Bill Grantham
gave a paper on international co-production and chaired two panel sessions
at the Sedona Conference on March 25-26 in Arizona.
Bill wrote an article on international copyright and motion pictures for a Cannes film
festival daily issue of The Business of Film.
Bill also wrote an article on television production for the MIP-TV
issue of Channel 21 International magazine, a trade paper.
Bill recently completed a review of a biography of Jonathan Swift by
Victoria Glendinning for the Sunday Book Review of the San Francisco Chronicle.
Steve Fayne and John Burke co-authored an article on
insurance-backed film financing for a Cannes film festival daily issue of The Business of
Film.

Mitchell Kamarck has been named as
an original member of the International Who's Who of Internet and E-Commerce Lawyers.
The Los Angeles Times recently ran an article regarding Mitchell's work on behalf of
Apollonia, Alyssa Milano, Ami Dolenz and Carmen Electra. The article included a
reference to the judgment obtained by Mitchell on behalf of Alyssa Milano last year in
another lawsuit.
